Universal Life Insurance
Similar to whole life, universal life insurance offers a guaranteed death benefit. However, unlike other life insurance plans, universal life offers more flexibility in your premium payments.
Universal life insurance does not require the policyholder to pay their premium every year. Premium payments can be flexible in frequency and in amount. However, a baseline amount of cash surrender value must be retained in the policy in order for the policy to stay in force.
