Business Umbrella

Designed to add an extra layer of protection, Liability insurance, also known as an Umbrella policy, is designed to go above and beyond the business owners current insurance limits in the event that a catastrophic accident occurs. This type of policy covers large expenses such as an injured persons medical bills, and/or lost wages due to negligence.

Liability limits usually range from one million to five million dollars but can be held in amounts upwards of 25 million dollars.

Should a claim occur, your liability umbrella policy will not be used unless all of the resources from your underlying policy have been exhausted by claims. Umbrella insurance also closes any gaps in coverage between your various business owners policy.

Please keep in mind, Umbrella Liability is not a replacement for standard liability coverage. Again, this policy provides payment for claims that are in excess of your underlying policies.
